Ever since the news about making the film of India's biggest epic came out, fans only awaited to see the cast and all the magic spells on the silver screen. Some times before after the rumors of Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of Ram in the film and Sai Pallavi portraying the role of Mata Sita in the film. Fans are so excited to see this film and to know who plays the other characters in the film. as the roles of several actors are known and one such character is Kaikeyi. It was rumored that actress Lara Dutta would play the role of Kaikeyi and now the rumors are clear. Lara Dutta breaks the silence on the rumors.

Lara Dutta plays the role of Kaikeyi 

One of the renowned actresses of Bollywood Lara Dutta now breaks the silence on the speculation of Kaikeyi's role.  In a recent media interaction, she said that she too heard the news of playing the character of Kaikeyi in Nitesh Tiwari's film Ramayana. She further said that she is leaving the rumors out here. She said, I also like reading and hearing about them so please continue. Lara Dutta went to joke and said, Who won't be a part of Ramayana?  Dutta also mentioned that other characters I would have to play in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer if naming the characters she laughed and said, “Surpanakha, Mandodari, I am playing them all.”

Ramayana cast

In Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor portrays the role of Lord Ram, and The actress Sai Pallavi plays the role of Goddess Sita. Yash plays the role of  Ravana. Sunny Deol is set to play the role of Hanuman while Lara Dutta will appear as a Kaikeyi in the film. Other cast members are in discussion.
